A Much Needed Housing Solution for Belgrade
Sanderson Stewart provided platting, planning, floodplain modeling and permitting, design of on-site infrastructure and permitting, construction administration, and construction staking for the 160-acre master planned Meadowlark Ranch Subdivision in Belgrade Montana. The unique coved design, along with the site challenges including a railroad berm and floodplain, required innovative design solutions special coordination with FEMA.
Phases I through IV are constructed and Phases V & VI are currently in preliminary platting and conceptual design. As part of our services, Sanderson Stewart has completed the following:
- Completed upfront analysis to determine how to provide water, sanitary sewer, and storm drain infrastructure to serve the 160-acre area
- Preliminary and Final platting for various phases of the development through the City of Belgrade subdivision process, including comprehensive traffic studies
- Design and permitting (City of Belgrade and DEQ) of utility and street improvements
- Coordinating with FEMA to obtain a Letter of Map Revision to better define the floodplain adjacent to and through the subdivision
- In-field services including construction staking and property pin placement
- Construction observation and documentation during construction
