The Placemaking Studio had the unique opportunity to design a pocket park in downtown Bozeman that will be the framework for future pocket park developments in the downtown area. These parks will complement the existing commercial district, while presenting distinct characteristics that will distinguish them from each other and providing an attractive respite. For the North Black Pocket Park, Sanderson Stewart’s Placemaking Studio worked with the Downtown Bozeman Tax Increment Financing District to create two alternative plans for park development. The plans include site and phasing alternatives, design concepts, and cost estimates.
