After a sizable donation from Norm Asbjornson, philanthropist and Winifred, Montana native, Winifred Schools has been able to invest in new facilities that will provide more classes as well as a welding shop, space for classes focused on the trades, and a greenhouse.
As part of this growth, Sanderson Stewart is providing landscape architectural services for the new renovation to the Winifred School. Our team has provided the landscape and irrigation design that includes concrete plazas for the front entry and the back athletics areas between the school and newly installed/renovated track and field. We also provided design services for the new synthetic turf football field and 6-lane synthetic rubberized track surface. The track and field include a new LED field lighting package, new bleachers, and field underdrainage.
“Everything has been really outstanding. We got a great team from the construction team to the design team and we’re up working really well together and so honestly, going about as smooth as you could expect being in this remote location and the amount of work that’s being completed on a monthly basis is really impressive.” – Kris Koessl, Construction Manager (Source: www.krtv.com)
