University of Northern Colorado 11th Avenue West Parking + UC Site Improvements

UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN COLORADO’S INVITING CAMPUS IMPROVEMENTS

Sanderson Stewart recently designed and provided construction administration services for a new 150-space campus parking lot and access road, which included pedestrian hardscape, lighting, and landscape and irrigation design as well as façade improvements to an adjacent pedestrian tunnel.  The goal for the site improvements was to provide better overall multi-modal connectivity and access to UNC’s Greeley, CO campus while remaining welcoming to students, staff, and visitors. Sanderson Stewart’s design approach considered key items including connectivity, aesthetics, safety, accessibility, maintenance, and water usage.
