Come hear about and help plan for this future transportation corridor. The Inner Belt Loop Corridor Study will examine the proposed corridor from the terminus of Skyway Drive and Alkali Creek to Highway 3. The study will evaluate the challenges of the proposed roadway, develop an access plan that will include bike/pedestrian infrastructure, storm water management strategies and evaluate future impacts to the corridor by new development activity.
The meeting is open to the public. The Yellowstone County Planning Board attempts to provide accommodations for any known disability that may interfere with a person’ participation in any department service, program or activity. For reasonable accommodations to participate in the meeting, please contact Tammy Deines, Planning Clerk at (406) 247-8610 at least two days before the meeting. Alternative accessible formats of this information will be provided upon request.

On Monday, September 16, Sanderson Stewart presented current status and study progress to the City Council via its Work Session meeting that evening. During and after the presentation, Staff and Sanderson Stewart answered a variety of questions about various aspects of the study and our direction going forward. Public Meeting #1 is tentatively planned for late October. Please check back for updates on a date, time, and location for that meeting.
The project team has been preparing for a presentation to the City Council at the work session meeting on Monday, September 16. We have also been meeting with private utility and emergency services providers to develop an understanding of any challenges or constraints for property development that may be related to those services. We anticipate holding a public meeting at some point in the next 6-7 weeks to inform the public and solicit input on the study.
