We are privileged to share the news that Tim Pirtz, PE and D.J. Clark, PE, PTOE have recently been named principals at Sanderson Stewart!
Tim Pirtz, PE is Sanderson Stewart’s Chief Engineer. With 23 years as a CSTP under his belt, Tim is responsible for the design and management of some of our firm’s most complex land development and municipal projects. He has considerable experience and a thorough understanding of all aspects of the design and construction process from planning to project closeout, which makes him an ideal mentor for Sanderson Stewart’s newer staff. Tim is also an important member of the firm’s IT Group, where he works with the group to implement new technology and solutions to help our team work more efficiently. It’s not all work with Tim, however. On the weekends you can often find him chasing after his wife Tara as she prepares for marathons, and taking his camper out to enjoy the Montana wilderness.
D.J. Clark, PE, PTOE is currently the firm’s Billings Region Manager and Senior Engineer. D.J. is responsible for supporting project teams through resource allocation, quality assurance, and oversight of fieldwork operations. He is also an experienced transportation engineer, helping to create safer and more efficient roads and intersections all over the Rocky Mountain Region. In his 16 years with the firm, D.J. has epitomized what it means to be a CSTP through his mentorship of team members, his philanthropic work, and always “Riding for the Brand.” D.J. has plenty to keep him busy in his off time, including spending time with his kids, cheering on the Bobcats, and firing up the grill (or smoker, or flat top).
D.J. and Tim join Michael Sanderson, PE, PTOE, Rick Leuthold, PE, John Tufte, PE, and Danielle Scharf, PE, PTOE, LEED AP as principals of the firm.
Congratulations Tim! I always knew you were really smart!
